The Edgemont is a ski-in, ski-out condominium complex just up the hill from the Steamboat Ski Resort base area. Gondola Run A is a luxurious home (half of a duplex) that has 6 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and sleeps up to 16 people comfortably. Located under the gondola, guests enjoy excellent views of the Sleeping Giant Mountain and north valley. Step outside and you are 59 steps from a walking trail that directly accesses the Valley View run. From this point down, an intermediate can readily ski or snowboard Valley View right to the base area. Note that at day's end, returning to this access point requires expert abilities. The Ponderosa Lodge sits just under the Steamboat Gondola, high above the valley floor and takes its name from the grand Ponderosa Pine tree in the front yard. On three levels with over 6,000 square feet, this beautiful log home has 6 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and sleeps 10 people comfortably. The main level features a large living area with a wood-burning fireplace and incredible views of the entire valley. The master suite is on this level with a king bed and its own gas fireplace. There is also a half bath and an office with a pull-out queen bed on the main level. The upper level has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with twin bunk beds and another twin bed. These two bedrooms share a bath. The lower level features another living area with its own gas fireplace, large TV, bar with refrigerator, and a closet full of games. There are three bedrooms and two baths on this level. The first bedroom has a king bed and its own gas fireplace. Off of this bedroom is a small windowless room with a crib and changing table. The second bedroom has a queen bed, while the third features a bunk bed (twin over full) and a separate twin bed.
